When I came across this cute contraption for the kitchen, called the EcoPod, I was so excited I had to spread the word.  If your recycle pile is like ours (out of hand) then the EcoPod is just the answer.  It is a new device that will crush 50 plastic and/or aluminum containers and store it inside its cute facade.  There are also other compartments for things like newspapers, plastic bags, glass, etc, and it is contained in a tight little package that is 16" by 20.5" by 31" high.  So if your not so excited about recycling because of the way it makes your kitchen/under the sink/laundry room look, (or in my house we stow our recycleables in our closet), then here is an option that will make you excited, as it is not only sensible and smart, it is also a cute addition to any kitchen (and comes in White or Black)!  You can find at www.ecopod.org for $328!
